Yat Siu (* 1973 in Vienna ) is an entrepreneur and angel investor based in Hong Kong .

Life

Yat Siu grew up in Vienna. Yat Siu studied at the Vienna Conservatory . He started programming music software. From 1990, during his school days, he had a job at Atari . He moved to the USA. He has a degree from Boston University . In 1995 he moved to Hong Kong. Yat Siu founded HKOnline, Hong Kong's first Internet provider, and sold it to IBM in 2009 . He is the founder of the mobile games companies Outblaze and Animoca as well as a consultant at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts and Binances Liechtenstein Cryptoassets Exchange. He was honored with the "DHL SCMP Business Award" and "Global Leader of Tomorrow" and "Young Global Leader" by the World Economic Forum and the 2016 Talent Unleashed Awards. He is Director of the Asian Youth Orchestra and Board of Director at Dalton Learning Lab. Yat Siu is married and has three children.
