The Brücke eV ( Turkish Köprü ) is a non-profit association founded in 1992 in the Turkish metropolis of Istanbul . It sees itself as a German cultural and charity association and is also perceived as a transnational organization. He is considered to be one of the largest and most influential clubs of its kind in Turkey. The chairman is Christine Şenol .

The aim is a German-Turkish cooperation on educational issues, but also on social, cultural and charitable projects. The association offers information on residence, labor and inheritance law and wants to bring German speakers together.

The members and sustaining members come from Turkey and the German-speaking countries Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The organ of publication is the newsletter for German speakers in Turkey with a print run of 1,000 copies. In particular, German women who have come to Istanbul after their marriage can organize themselves in this way. In addition to the chairperson (as of 2014), the board includes: Claudia Yılmaz (deputy chairperson), Corina Bilhan (treasurer), Brigitte Midil (secretary) and Kristina Laubscher (member).
