The Porschel near Köttern, district of Seelitz ( Central Saxony district ), is a Slavic castle complex with a three-tiered rampart.
Description of the plant
The Porschel is not far from the B 175 , 600 m south of Köttern and 400 m north of Döhlen . The facility is located on a wooded, natural mountain spur, which lies in a southwest-northeast axis. Three wall-trench systems are oriented to the northeast and north. To the south and west, the terrain sloping steeply to a stream forms a natural obstacle.
