The Küchensee is a lake in Bavaria located about 1.5 kilometers northeast of Scheinfeld in the Steigerwald Nature Park .

It is in close proximity to Schwarzenberg Castle and Schwarzenberg Monastery . The slightly triangular lake is about 3000 m² and is surrounded by trees on the entire shore. In the southwest, the lake is connected to the development, in the north is the area of a boarding school .
Other lakes in the immediate vicinity are the approximately equally large Wolfsee , the smaller Johannessee, the larger Stadtsee and the 5 Fischhausweiher.
