Westmark Artists Association
The Künstlerbund Westmark was founded according to an article in Koblenz General Anzeiger of 29 April 1921 by the artists Friedrich Karl Ströher and Heinrich Gesemann, which also took over the board. Members were artists from all over the Rhineland (Cologne, Bonn, Eifel, Moselle, Hunsrück). How long the artist association existed is not documented.
These artists are also referred to as the "lost generation between two world wars". They lived and worked in the time of soldierhood, Nazi art and the dawn of modernity.
