Coastal highway
Coastal motorway is the name for a motorway that, in the narrow or broader sense, runs along a coast.
Germany
In Germany, this designation has been established for the following federal motorways:
- the federal highway 20 ( Westerstede - Uckermark)
- Section from Uckermark to Lübeck also called "Ostseautobahn"
- Planned section in Schleswig-Holstein from Lübeck to Elbe crossing (Hamburg's northern bypass)
- Planned section of the Lower Saxony from Drochtersen to Westerstede (formerly called A 22 ), including the planned Kehdingen motorway junction and the subsequent sections 5a and 5b of the federal motorway 26 (Drochtersen– Stade )
- the federal highway 23 (Heide-Hamburg), also "West Coast Highway "
Russian Federation
In addition, the term stands for the Primorskoje Kolzo (“coastal ring”) under construction in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad , which connects the Baltic seaside resorts and port cities from Kaliningrad and ends again in Kaliningrad.
