Kęstutis Daukšys

Kęstutis Daukšys (born January 31, 1960 in Alytus ) is a Lithuanian manager and politician.

Life

After graduating from high school from 1967 to 1978 at the 5th Alytus Middle School, he graduated from 1978 to 1983 with a diploma at the Faculty of Industrial Economics of the Vilniaus valstybinis universitetas and from 1989 to 1990 marketing courses at the Plekhanov Institute in Moscow . From 1987 to 1989 he served in the Soviet Army. From 1990 to 1995 he was director of UAB "Balticum", from 1998 to 2004 director general and chairman of the board of AB "Kilimai". In 2004 he was a member of the Seimas , and from 2005 to 2006 Minister of Economics in the Brazauskas II cabinet .

In 2006 he was chairman of the Darbo partija .
