Kōichi Hirono ( Japanese 広 野 耕 一 Hirono Kōichi ; born April 16, 1980 in Nara Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Hirono learned to play football on the school team at Nara Ikuei High School and the university team at Aichi Gakuin University . He signed his first contract with Takada FC in 2003 . In May 2003 he moved to the first division club Nagoya Grampus . In 2006 he was loaned to the second division Yokohama FC . In 2007 he returned to Nagoya Grampus. For the club he completed six first division games. In 2009 he reached the final of the Kaiser Cup . At the end of 2009 he ended his career as a football player.
