Kōichi Togashi ( Japanese 冨 樫 剛 一 , Togashi Kōichi ; born July 15, 1971 in Kanagawa Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player and coach.

Career

Togashi learned to play soccer in Yomiuri's youth team . He signed his first contract with Yomiuri in 1990 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League . With the club he became Japanese champions in 1990/91 and 1991/92 . With the founding of the professional league J.League in 1992 and the associated reorganization of Japanese football, the Yomiuri became Verdy Kawasaki . With the club he became Japanese champions in 1993 and 1994 . In 1995 he moved to league competitor Yokohama wing . In 1996 he moved to the second division Consadole Sapporo . In 1997 he became champions of the Japan Football League with the club . For the club he completed 27 games. At the end of 1997 he ended his career as a football player.
