Kōriki (clan)
The Kōriki ( Japanese 高 力 氏 , Kōriki-shi ) were a family of the Japanese sword nobility ( Buke ) , who came from the province of Mikawa .
genealogy
- Kiyonaga ( 清 長 ; 1530-1608) was fellow in arms of Tokugawa Ieyasu and was one of the city commissioners ( machi bugyō ) of Sumpu in 1565 and then got the honorary title Kawachi no Kami ( 河内 の 守 ) in 1586 . In 1590, Iwatsuki Castle in Musashi Province received koku with an income of 20,000 .
- Tadafusa ( 忠 房 ; 1583-1655), Kiyonaga's grandson, received Hamamatsu Castle in the Tōtōmi Province in 1619 and then in 1638 Shimabara Castle in the Hizen Province with 40,000 Koku.
- Takanaga ( 高 長 ; 1604–1676), Tadafusa's son, was deposed in 1668 by the shogunate for poor administration and exiled to Sendai . Thus the family lost their daimyo rank .
