Kōsuke Yamamoto ( Japanese 山 本 康裕 Yamamoto Kōsuke ; born October 29, 1989 in Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Yamamoto learned to play football in the youth team of Júbilo Iwata . He signed his first contract with Júbilo Iwata in 2006. The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 2010 he won the J.League Cup with the club . At the end of the 2013 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . For the club he completed 143 league games. In June 2014 he was loaned to the first division club Albirex Niigata . For Niigata he completed 53 first division games. In 2016 he returned to the first division side Júbilo Iwata. At the end of the 2019 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League.
