Kōta Sugawara ( Japanese 菅原 康 太 Sugawara Kōta ; born May 22, 1985 in Hokkaido ) is a Japanese football player .
Career
Sugawara learned to play soccer on the college team at Kokushikan University . He signed his first contract with Tokushima Vortis in 2008 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . For the club he completed 35 league games. He then played for Grulla Morioka , MIO Biwako Shiga , Zweigen Kanazawa , FC Osaka and Kochi United SC .
