FC Osaka ( Japanese FC 大阪 ) is a Japanese football club from Osaka Prefecture . He has played in the Japan Football League since 2015 .

history

The association was founded in 1996. After the first ten years were rather inconspicuous, they rose to the 2007 season in the top prefecture league, which they won immediately. In the following years, FC Osaka literally dominated the league and won further championship titles in 2009, 2010 and 2011, although 2011 did not even have to give up a single point. Despite the series of championships the jump to Division 2 of the managed unknown reasons Kansai - Regional but only at the end of the season unbeaten completed.

Further titles shouldn't be long in coming. In 2012 the club won the championship in Division 2, a year later the title in Division 1 followed just as convincingly. However, promotion to the Japan Football League was missed after elimination in the preliminary round of the national regional league finals . In the following 2014 season, they “only” won second place in the championship; however, you qualified due to winning the Japanese Amateur Cup against the Ryūtsū Keizai Dragons again for the Regionalliga finals, where a second place in the finals succeeded in promotion to the JFL.

In addition to its JFL team, the club also has a women's team, a men's over 50 team and football schools for several age groups.
