Shigeru Morioka ( Japanese 森岡 茂 , Morioka Shigeru ; born August 12, 1973 in Ōzu , Ehime Prefecture ) is a Japanese football coach and former football player .

career

Morioka played in the soccer team of the Yawatahama Technical High School and received a contract with Gamba Osaka after graduating from high school in 1992 , then moved to Kyoto Purple Sanga in 1999 , to Vissel Kobe in 2000 , then back to Gamba Osaka in 2002 and then to Banditonce Kobe / Kakogawa in 2006 . In 2008 he switched to the regional club FC Osaka as a coach and in the beginning also as a player .

With the Japanese national team , he qualified for the 1996 Summer Olympics .
