Kōta Ueda ( Japanese 上 田 康 太 Ueda Kōta ; born May 9, 1986 in Tokyo Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Ueda learned to play football in the youth team of Júbilo Iwata . He signed his first contract with Júbilo Iwata in 2005. The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 2010 he won the J.League Cup with the club . For the club he completed 118 first division games. In 2011 he moved to league rivals Omiya Ardija . For the club he completed 54 first division games. In March 2014 he moved to the second division club Fagiano Okayama . For the club he completed 35 league games. In 2015 he moved to league competitor Júbilo Iwata. In 2015 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League. For the club he completed 57 league games. In 2018 he moved to the second division club Fagiano Okayama.
