Kōtarō Nakao ( Japanese 中 尾 幸 太郎 , Nakao Kōtarō ; born June 8, 1969 in Nagasaki Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Nakao learned to play soccer on the school team at Kunimi High School and the university team at Osaka University of Commerce . He signed his first contract with Kawasaki Steel (today: Vissel Kobe) in 1992 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Football League . In 1996 he was runner-up with the club in the Japan Football League and rose to the J1 League . For the club he completed 75 games. He then played for Sagawa Express Tokyo , Sagawa Express Osaka and FC Mi-O Biwako Kusatsu . At the end of 2007 he ended his career as a football player.
