K4 (cultural center)

The K4 was an urban cultural center opened on December 4, 1996 in Nuremberg . It was located in the Künstlerhaus Nürnberg and emerged from the KOMM , one of the first self-governing socio - cultural centers in Germany. Since January 2008 it has been continued under the name of Künstlerhaus in the merger of the KunstKulturQuartier of the city of Nuremberg. K4 stood for culture and communication center in the Künstlerhaus am Königstor or programmatically for art, culture, cinema and communication .
