The KC Schwabsberg (officially: Kegelclub Schwabsberg eV) is a bowling club from Rainau - Schwabsberg , Baden-Württemberg . The KC Schwabsberg is now one of the most successful clubs on the Eastern Alb . Above all, the first team that takes part in the top division, the Kegel Bundesliga (Classic), is known. Your home games are played on the club's own bowling alley in Schwabsberg.
The club was officially founded on September 26, 1953 by 8 members under the name Kegelverein Holzhacker . In 1965 the name Holzhacker was temporarily changed to Sportfreunde in order to be able to take part in the German championships. After returning from the German championships, it was decided to name the club in the future Kegelclub Schwabsberg in order not to attract the displeasure of the association superiors again.
