The vehicles KGV Mn 1–3 were two-axle diesel railcars for narrow-gauge railways in Bosnian gauge , which were used in the Kecskemét narrow-gauge network . The later Dmot 953 continued to operate on the Széchenyi Museum Railway .
history
The motorized railcars were built for express freight transport on narrow-gauge railways from 1935 when two of the vehicles were built. A third railcar was delivered in 1940. They were equipped with a medium sized loading door. The radiator was attached to the roof at the ends. The engine output of 120 hp is equivalent to that of the MÁV series De 495 , the power transmission is mechanical.
MÁV series Dmot 951–953
With the takeover of the network belonging to the city of Kecskemét until 1949 by MÁV, the name was changed to Dmot 951-953 in 1951 . The vehicles were in service on the Kecskemét narrow-gauge network until 1970. After the end of the service, the Dmot 951 and Dmot 952 were retired, the Dmot 953 was passed on to the Széchenyi Museum Railway in 1971. The railcar is still there today, currently the car is supposed to be parked at the locomotive shed of the museum railway in Fertőboz .
