KISS Forever Band is a KISS cover band from Budapest . It was founded in 1995 by Zóltan Váry, Füzfa Zóltan, Zóltan Maróthy & Tobola Csaba.

history

In 1995 the first concerts in the E-Club in Budapest followed. For the 25th stage anniversary of KISS, the KISS Forever Band decided to appear in full costume and make-up from now on. This happened from March 1998. From May 1998 the band went to their first concerts abroad, among others in Austria and Germany. In 1999 the "KISS Germany Fanclub" released a CD sampler called A Tribute to KISS , on which various German artists (including Die Ärzte , Die Toten Hosen ) participated. The KISS Forever Band contributed to the sampler with the KISS title Shout it out Loud .

In 2000 things went uphill for the band. They played festivals in Hungary and Germany and were planning their first studio album. In spring 2001 the time had come. The band released their first album called Carnival of Songs , which was released under the major label TOM-TOM Records . In 2003 the second studio album called Plug it Out was released , also released under the major label TOM-TOM Records .

In 2005 drummer Tobola Csaba left the band and was replaced by Radek Sikl, a drummer from the Czech Republic. Radek Sikl immediately had big things ahead of him and as a prelude to the KISS Forever Band had to prove himself behind the drums on a tour of England. In 2006 the third album called "Live & Loud" was released, again under the major label TOM-TOM Records . The band also played in Moscow that year. In 2007 the first tour followed in Spain and Portugal.

In 2008 the band's first official DVD was released under the major label TOM-TOM Records . The DVD bears the same title as the third album: "Live & Loud".

In an internet vote for the “KISS Tribute Band Contest” they made it to the finals two days before the start of their “End of the World Tour”. From over 200 registered KISS tribute bands around the world, the four best placed were invited to Las Vegas by internet voting. Tommy Thayer was also on the jury on January 29, 2012 . The band took second place behind “Mr.Speed”.

On January 17th, 2013, for the one-year anniversary of the Hard Rock Cafe Budapest , the KISS Forever Band played two shows - one of which was an unplugged concert.

In 2014, for the "40 Anniversary Year" of KISS, the KISS Forever Band played in several Hard Rock Cafes in Europe, including Munich.

In 2018 they performed in Germany, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic and other countries, including again in the Hard Rock Cafe Munich on April 19, 2018, in front of enthusiastic KISS and KISS Forever Band fans.

Her “25th Anniversary Tour” in 2020 will take her to Norway, Germany and Hungary.
