KKP Bydgoszcz is a Polish women's football club from Bydgoszcz in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship . The club spent five seasons in the top Polish league, the Ekstraliga Kobiet.

history

The club was founded on July 24, 2007 by splitting off the women's football division of the Brda Bydgoszcz club , which had had a football division since 2002. The club initially played in the first division (Group West), from which he was relegated in 2008. In the next season, however, succeeded in direct promotion.

In 2010, the club was third in the group north of the 1st division and qualified for the relegation to Ekstraliga Kobiet , where KKP Bydgoszcz failed at 1. FC Katowice with 0: 1 and 1: 1. In the following season, the club was the first to climb directly into the Ekstraliga Kobiet.

From 2011 to 2016 Bydgoszcz played in the Ekstraliga, the best placement was 7th place. In the 2015/16 season , the club was last and was relegated, since then the club has been back in the 1st division north. In the 2018/19 season, the club rose again to the Ekstraliga.
