In 1982/83, however, the title was subsequently revoked, a few days after receiving the cup and medals. The reason: They resisted a repetition of the "Kaiserspiel" (if there was a tie and there was a difference in points, a kind of Kaiserspiel was played between the two clubs), which they had won in front of their home crowd. You played against KK Bosna and won after free throws. For inexplicable reasons, the KK Bosna club filed a complaint that the free throws were not justified. The association set a new imperial game, but this time in Novi Sad , Serbia . Since they feared postponement in the final, they did not want to compete. In the first final, a future world star attracted attention, Dražen Petrović . He converted the decisive free throws.
According to the official rules of William Jones from the international association FIBA from 1970 to 1979, a game is scored with the result as it turned out. Others
The club has set a curious world record after falling behind KK Partizan with 18 baskets in front of their home crowd , where big names like Vlade Divac , Paspalij, Đorđević and others played, and a series of 21: 0 and 24: 1 respectively lay down and thus turned the game. It should be noted that at that time only two halves were played (not four quarters as it is today), and the clock was not stopped after each basket won.
