Services
Data recovery is the most important line of business with over 100,000 data recovery requests a year. Another line of business is computer forensics , recovery and backup e.g. B. of deleted data. Software products
Ontrack Data Advisor
Ontrack Data Advisor is computer system diagnostic software that detects problems that can lead to data loss and allows an assessment to be made of whether the hard disk drive, file structures, and computer memory are OK. The software boots from an external storage medium, for example a CD, and enables problem analysis without the operating system of the computer to be checked being running.
Ontrack EasyRecovery
Ontrack EasyRecovery software is designed for cheaper data recovery and repair when the skills of a data recovery engineer are not required. It enables access to files (including Microsoft Office files) that the normal operating system can no longer read and can repair damaged files.
Ontrack Eraser
The Ontrack Eraser software thoroughly deletes in-house and confidential data by overwriting it several times, so that recovery is no longer possible. This may be necessary, for example, when leasing or renting equipment is returned, when computers are sold or when users change, in order to prevent the original data from being used by unauthorized persons.
Ontrack PowerControls
PowerControls enables administrators of Microsoft Exchange servers to restore individual mailboxes and folders, but also any number of messages and attachments, from .edb files. The files can be accessed by the administrator from a client via the user interface in a similar way to Outlook . A search function helps with the comprehensive search for keywords, data and attachments. The software no longer requires backup of individual mailboxes and supports Microsoft NT Backup, VERITAS NetBackup and VERITAS Backup Exec as well as IBM Tivoli, LEGATO NetWorker and Computer Associates BrightStor ARCserve as well as the data backup formats of HP OpenView Storage Data Protector.
