The KOSDAQ is the technology index of the stock market in South Korea , the Korea Exchange (KRX) . The acronym KOSDAQ stands for Korea Securities Dealers Association Automated Quotations , which means the display of stock values ​​by the Korean Association of Securities Dealers . The KOSDAQ was listed for the first time in 1996, based on the US technology index NASDAQ . In October 2005, 894 companies were listed in the KOSDAQ technology index.
