KTM-2 ( Russian: КТМ-2) is the name of a two-axle tram car type built by the Kirov- Ust-Katawer Waggonbaufabrik in Ust-Kataw ( Russia ) . The abbreviation KTM means Kirovsky Tramwaj Motorny (Russian Кировский Трамвай Моторный , Kirov railcar), the number 2 corresponds to the manufacturer's second design.
These cars drove in many Soviet cities from 1960 to 1987. Usually, the lead railcar together with a KTP-2 - sidecar (russ. КТП-2 - Кировский трамвай прицепной , Kirowski Tramwaj Prizepnoj , Kirov sidecar).
