KTM-1 ( Russian КТМ-1) is the name of a four-axle tram -railcar type built by the Kirow- Ust-Katawer Waggonbaufabrik in Ust-Kataw ( Russia ) . The abbreviation KTM means Kirowski Tramwaj Motorny (Russian Кировский Трамвай Моторный , Kirov railcar), the number 1 corresponds to the manufacturer's first draft.
These cars drove in Moscow , Gorki , Odessa and other Soviet cities from 1948 to 1986. Usually drove the railcar together with a KTP 1 - sidecar (russ. КТП-1 - Кировский трамвай прицепной , Kirowski Tramwaj Prizepnoj , Kirov sidecar).
