KXL-FM is a commercial news / talk station based out of Portland , Oregon . The station is owned by Alpha Media. The sister station is the older Clear Channel medium wave station KXL .

KXL produces two US-wide programs, The Lars Larson Show and, since 2011, Ground Zero with Clyde Lewis . The TV channel KPTV-TV also belongs to the transmitter family .
