Caserma Diaz concentration camp
The Caserma Diaz concentration camp ( campo di concentramento della Caserma Diaz di Fiume ) was an Italian concentration camp of Fascist Italy at the time of the Second World War in a former barracks near Rijeka (Italian: Fiume ) and was subordinate to the II Armata. Croatian, Serbian and Slovenian civilians were interned there. There were 33 deaths. Today the building is used by a Croatian university.
