Kabuto Dake ( Japanese か ぶ と 岳 'helmet mountain' ) is a small nunatak in Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . It rises around 35 km west of Mount Gaston de Gerlache in the southern part of the Queen Fabiola Mountains .
Japanese scientists made measurements in 1973 and descriptive naming in 1975.
