Kai Barth (born February 28, 1989 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a former German basketball player . He comes from a basketball family: just like his older brother Sebastian Barth and his younger brother Nico Barth, he started playing basketball at TV 1862 Langen . All three were appointed to youth national teams and played in the second division team of TV Langen. Kai Barth was registered as a double licensed player with the cooperation partner Deutsche Bank Skyliners from 2008 to 2010 and partly trained with the local Bundesliga team, but he never played in the first division. After TV Langen's relegation to ProB, Kai Barth moved to USC Heidelberg , where he became a top performer.
In June 2014 it became known that he would like to devote more time to his studies and his private environment in the future and has therefore ended his career as a professional basketball player. This means that his contract with USC Heidelberg ends after four years.
