Louis Jacobi built the Kaiser-Wilhelms-Bad, which functioned as a therapy house, between 1887 and 1890. The former name of today's bath was Fürstenbad . Inside there are wide, high rooms furnished with precious tiles and mosaics. Some well-known visitors to the royal bath were Albert Eduard (Prince of Wales) , Bismarck (1890) and King Chulalongkorn . Regarding the latter, who was on a diet cure there from August 15, 1907 to September 22, 1907, a report says: “... In Bad Homburg, on September 20, the celebration of the 54th birthday of the King of Siam took place. The king had a healing spring that will bear his name surrounded by a magnificent pavilion. It will be a 'memory of a gracious and generous monarch' ... "

In front of the entrance of the Kaiser-Wilhelms-Bad is a 3.50 meter high bronze monument of Kaiser Wilhelm I. The base of the monument, inaugurated on September 10, 1905 in the presence of the imperial family and created by the artist Fritz Gerth , is made of Swedish red granite .

Today the company Kur- und Kongreß-GmbH - Kur-Royal is located in Kaiser-Wilhelms-Bad .
