Kalam Publishing House
The Kalam publisher of Islamic theology and religious education is a German scientific publisher .
The publishing house was founded in 2010 as the first specialist publisher for Islamic theology and religious education in German-speaking countries. The publishing house was founded in parallel with the establishment of centers for Islamic theology at German universities. The publishing program includes specialist literature from the fields of Islamic theology and religious education and covers the historical and contemporary intellectual history of Islam.

The publications are aimed at scientists, students and the interested public. The authors and editors include a. Bülent Uçar , Mouhanad Khorchide , Milad Karimi , Amir Dziri and Ali Ghandour. The aim of the publishing house is to promote the “intellectual autonomy of Muslims in the field of publishing”. Kalam Verlag is a member of the Rombach group of companies based in Freiburg.
