Kalavasos-Ayios Dhimiytrios is an archaeological excavation site near Kalavasos in Cyprus . The place is in the south of the island, about 2 km from the sea. The remains found date mainly from the late Bronze Age . The ancient place was about 10 hectares.

During the excavations that were necessary in connection with the construction of the motorway in 1979, numerous residential buildings came to light. A large, rectangular building complex is outstanding . So far it is one of the largest buildings in Cyprus from this period. Around a courtyard there were numerous storage rooms with pithoi , in which olive oil was stored. There were also workshops in which this was processed.

The discovery of writing and seals indicates a state management of local production. Tombs with rich gifts, in which the local elite were buried, were found.
