California National Party

The California National Party ( english California National Party , CNP ) is a political party in the US state of California , whose main objective is a peaceful secession and the national independence of the United States is. California legislative historian Alex Vassar described it as "the most promising political party you've ever heard of". Theo Slater is currently party chairman. The party program deals with the reform of taxation, banking, the electoral process, police offices, education, etc. These opinions are all center-left and reflect the "pragmatic-progressive" ideology of this party.

Official status

The California National Party has already applied to be a political party in California. To get recognition, the CNP has to collect around 50,000 signatures by June 2017.

The California National Party's program addresses many issues with a "pragmatic-progressive" attitude.

“Supporters believe that California - one of the richest states in America - should invest in better transportation and a water supply structure instead of spending aid money in the Midwest on growing corn; Issues that are not taken up by the national parties ... [the party program] describes social security, social housing, immigration restrictions, education and the economy. "

history

The creation of the California National Party was inspired by the Scottish National Party , the Scottish party for independence from Great Britain .

In June 2016, the party held a conference in Sacramento , California, at which Theo Slater was elected chairman. Since the results of the US presidential election in November 2016 , the number of members has increased, and new local associations have sprung up in 10 different cities.
