Kalin Shtarkow (also Kalin Shturkov , Bulgarian Калин Щърков ) (born May 20, 1984 ) is a Bulgarian footballer who has played for Tschepinez Velingrad in the Bulgarian W Grupa since March 2013 . His position is left defense.

Career

Shtarkov began his career in 1996 in the youth team of Levski Sofia. In the 2002/03 season he was the first time in the professional squad of Levski Sofia, but was not used in any game. For the 2003/04 season, Kalin Shtarkov was loaned to Levski Dolna Banya and played 23 games there. The Bulgarian then moved to Rodopa Smolyan for two years until 2006 , where he played 36 times. From 2006 to 2008 he played 55 times for Rilski Sportist Samokow and in 2008 he moved to FC Chavdar Etropole. In 2010, Shtarkov reached the semi-finals of the Bulgarian Football Cup with Etropole. After eight years in B group clubs , he moved back to Levski Sofia in May 2010. His transfer was free of charge.

In early 2011, Shtarkov was loaned to Widima-Rakovsky Sevlievo , after he had only come to one use for Levski. After his return, he came at the beginning of the 2011/12 season also only on one mission, whereupon Widima-Rakowski Sevliewo committed him in October 2011. After the relegation of his new team at the end of the season, his contract was not extended. Since March 2013 he has been playing for third division Tschepinez Velingrad .
