The PFK Rilski Sportist Samokow ( Bulgarian: ПФК Рилски спортист Самоков) is a Bulgarian football club from Samokow . After relegation, the club plays in the second highest division in Bulgaria , Grupa B. The club colors are blue-green.
General
The association was founded in 1947. After the 2002/03 and 2005/06 seasons, which were played in the Bulgarian first division, the club's greatest successes were the promotions in previous years. Before its final name, the club was called Sportklub, Levski, Benkovski, Cherveno zmane, Dinamo and Stroitel Samokov from 1947. Rilski sportist plays in the Iskar Stadium, which officially fills 5,000 spectators. The stadium is right next to the largest park in the city of Samokov dem Gradski. It was built in 1972 and has a playing area of 110 × 82 meters . The best visit so far was in October 2002 against Levski Sofia . The name Rilski Sportist means : athlete from the Rila . The fans are also referred to as the skiers.
