Potassium polyvinyl sulfate (KPVS) is a polymer and a derivative of polyvinyl sulfuric acid .
use
KPVS is in areas such as polyelectrolyte - titration used to determine polycations. The negative centers of the KPVS attach to the positive centers of the analyte. As soon as the KPVS has been added in excess, the indicator (o- toluidine blue ) turns from blue to red and the equivalence point of the titration has been reached. KPVS can also be used in the potentiodynamic electropolymerization of pyrrole .
