Kalivo was a Bronze Age fortress in southern Albania that was upstream of Butrint . It is part of the Butrint World Heritage Site and Butrint National Park . The facility is located on a hill up to 81 meters high between the Butrintsee and the Bufi lake to the southeast and was probably built in the 12th century BC. Built in BC.

The Italian archaeologist Luigi Maria Ugolini was able to secure Bronze Age stone tools during excavations . The mighty surrounding walls are still visible today.
