Kalk-Ballje

Kalk-Ballje , Kalk-Balje , also known as Oldenburger Kalk-Tonne , was a volume measure for lime in the Duchy of Oldenburg .

• 1 lime ballje = 56 pots = 3 ½ Oldenburg bushels

The lime bin only held three bushels in the Varel district .
