Camel painter
Camel painter is the emergency name of a black-figure vase painter from the second half of the 6th century BC. Chr.
It is unclear whether he was an Attic or a Boeotian vase painter. For a long time it was thought to be Attic, but recently there has been a tendency in research to locate it in Boeotia. It got its emergency name from the depiction of a camel.
