Kansas City Times

The Kansas City Times was an American daily newspaper that appeared in Kansas City, Missouri from 1867 to 1990 .

The Morning Newspaper was founded in 1867 by John Newman Edwards to support the Democrats' anti- reconstruction policies . Edward’s journalistic work is mainly associated with the glorification of Jesse James .

In 1901 the newspaper changed hands and was later temporarily run by its employees. In 1977 the Kansas City Times was taken over by the media company Capital Cities Communications together with the Kansas City Star .
