The Kantihalle Frauenfeld is a triple gymnasium in the southeast of the city of Frauenfeld , the capital of the Swiss canton of Thurgau .
history
The triple hall was built according to plans by the architects Peter Stutz & Markus Bolt and inaugurated in the anniversary year 2003. It is attached to the existing double gymnasium and forms the eastern end of the school area. With the extension, an architecturally holistic sports center was created that meets the requirements of school operations and sports events.
use
It is the stadium of the Red Lions Frauenfeld . The hall has a small grandstand with a capacity of around 1000 for floorball games .
During the day, the sports hall is used by the Frauenfeld Cantonal School .
reachability
From Frauenfeld train station, the hall can be reached on foot within 10 minutes or with the city bus line 1 (Spital) to the Thundorferstrasse stop.
