Franz Breid

Franz Breid (born August 3, 1940 in Münzkirchen ) is an Austrian Roman Catholic priest and theologian .

Life

After graduating from the Episcopal Gymnasium Petrinum in 1960 , he attended the seminary of the diocese of Linz . He was ordained a priest on June 29, 1966 . He continued his studies at the University of Graz , where he obtained his Dr. theol. received his doctorate . He completed his habilitation in pastoral theology in 1986 . He worked as a pastor in Niederkappel for 21 years and in Höhnhart for 10 years . Since 2006 he has been working in Hofkirchen im Mühlkreis . He taught pastoral theology at the Heiligenkreuz University of Applied Sciences.
