Cantonal print and material headquarters in Zurich
The Cantonal Printing and Material Center Zurich (kdmz) was founded in 1903 and has been an office of the finance department of the Canton of Zurich since January 1, 1997 . As such, it has a cross-sectional and mediating function. It is the central procurement and service point for the cantonal administration and other authorized agencies. The company employs 49.2 people. The entire trade in materials, equipment and printed matter is one of the core competencies. In addition, these customers are increasingly being offered additional services such as advice , storage , shipping , disposal of special products and courier services. As a further core competence, kdmz operates its own production facilities (including a state-of-the-art digital printing plant) for mainly confidential and urgent copying, desktop, printing and finishing work. From the order to the posting to the cost center (Stabu), the whole process can take place without media discontinuity.
