Pulpit law refers to the right to preach in the area of ​​a pastor's office . In the Evangelical Church in Germany , pastors in the area of ​​the pastoral position assigned to them have the exclusive right to use the pulpit belonging to the pastoral position when performing the public proclamation. The pulpit law is part of the parochial law .
