The Cape Framnes is a cape at the Oskar-II. coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It marks the northeast end of the Jason Peninsula .
The Norwegian Antarctic explorer Carl Anton Larsen discovered the cape in 1893 and named it descriptively ( Norwegian framnes , protruding headland ' ). Larsen described the formation as the furthest eastward from the mainland in the region he explored.
