The Cape Norvegia is a prominent cape at the Princess Martha Coast of Antarctica Queen Maud Lands . It marks the northeastern boundary of the Riiser-Larsen Ice Shelf .
It was discovered by the Norwegian polar explorer Hjalmar Riiser-Larsen during an overflight in February 1930. Riiser-Larsen named the cape after the expedition ship Norvegia , from which he started his overflight.
