Chapel in Bruck

The chapel in Bruck , a district of Bad Hindelang in the Oberallgäu district , is a building from the late 18th century and is a listed building .

description

The chapel was built from rolling stone masonry on a rocky reef on the way from Bad Oberdorf to Hinterstein west of the Ostrach . The plastered structure has a shingle roof with a two-tier roof turret . The almost square nave and the choir, which is closed on three sides, have a flat plastered ceiling. The cafeteria is modern; on it there is a high baroque peasant crucifixion group. The Christ wears a shame cloth that swings out to the side, Mary stretches out her left hand while the right hand lies on her chest, John stands in contraposto . The group of figures is similar to works from the workshop group around the Immenstadt artist M. Beisch.
