St. Nikolaus Chapel (Böckingen)

The chapel of St. Nikolaus was next to the Pankratiuskirche a historical church of the place Böckingen .

In the 13th century, in addition to the Pankratius Church, the St. Nicholas chapel was also mentioned. According to the pension register of the knight's monastery of St. Peter in Wimpfen from 1295, the chapel was the property of the monastery. The sacred building is said to have stood in today's Kreuzgrund near the Neckargartach district in the Käppeli corridor . In the Worms Synodal of 1496, the chapel is referred to as in campis , which means in the field .
