history

On the 20 zloty note

The church was built in the middle of the 12th century in the Romanesque style. In contrast to most of the buildings on the castle hill, the rotunda has withstood the turmoil of time, especially the destruction of the castle in 1647 by Swedish troops. The image of the Rotunda is located on the 20- zloty -Schein.
